She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Minnick and Marsha Minnick. She is survived by: her children, Leigh Hays (Nate Toppen), James, Mealyn and Kaylyn; and her siblings, Rhonda Mosley (Martin Walker), Tina Purdy (Ron) and Jamie Minnick. She is also survived by one nephew, five nieces, 11 great-nieces, and 11 great-nephews.
In keeping with her selfless spirit, Laura wished to be cremated, and in lieu of flowers, donation to hospice Home in Jackson or cancer research organizations would be a fitting tribute.
