Russell Sterling and Mary Sterling (Barnes); her husband Charles Doan; her brother-in-law Alger Palmer; her children, Cathy Doan and Craig Doan (Julie May); her granddaughters, Camille Doan MD (Kevin Nesh), Carlyn Doan Bordelon (Jeff), Ceily Fessel Doan and Sandi Doan; her sister Jan Fessel; her grandson Douglas Teller (Debbie); and her great grandchildren, Garth Teller (Porsche), Peter Teller (Sarah) and Curtis Teller (Nicole). She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society.
