She was predeceased by: her parents, Urho Coponen and Martha Coponen (Jarvi); her children, John, Judith Torvinen and Barbara Heikkinen-Therrian (Torvinen); and her siblings, Helen Alaperet (Coponen), Wallace Coponen and William Coponen.
She is survived by: her children, James Torvinen (Joyce) of Greer, SC, Robert Torvinen (Priscilla) of Howell, MI, Michael Torvinen of Farmington Hills, MI, Michelle Hupp (Kevin) of Chassell, MI and Julie Thompson (Jeffery) of Garden City, MI; and her siblings, David, Douglas Coponen, Gloria Riutta, Gladys Bartkus, Verna LaMothe and Virginia Keteri. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
