He was predeceased by: his father David T. Halkola; his uncle Paul; his sister-in-law Karen Halkola; his parents-in-law, Paul Swift, Betty Swift and Joanne Mackey; his brother-in-law Jerry Guy; and also, Ray, Linda, Archie, Donald and Carol.
He is survived by: his mother Viola E. Halkola; his wife Marilyn Swift; his stepchildren, Jessica Saari-Ogden (Dan) and James Saari; his grandchildren, Grace and Jackson; his siblings, Mark, Chris Harkness (Joe) and Laurel Roehm Lisa (Fred Bishop); and his aunts, Kathleen Halkola and Helen Laine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Memorials may be made to the Copper Country Humane Society, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
