He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Koskela; his children, Allan (Beverly Esquible) of Freda, Carol Garnell of Hancock, Jim (Carole) of Redridge and Mary Jo Lukehart (Andy) of South Range; his grandchildren, John Durocher (Bridget), Billy Vater (Fawn), Tammie Fraki (Leon), Jeff Vater (Krystel), Paul Sten, Lauren Eggert (Kyle), Brooke Larsen (Jim), Allison Sten and Callie Sten; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Ella; his brothers, Howard Sten (Eunice) of Oskar Bay and Eldon (Mary Ann) of Painesdale; his daughter-in-law Donna Sten; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Johnson, Betty Kolehmainen (Jack), Bonnie Isola (David) of Atlantic Mine, William Koskela (Gail) of Lake Linden and Terry Koskela of Liminga. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Memorials may be made in Bob's name to Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, The Omega House, Zion Lutheran Church or Camp Lahti Retreat Center.
