It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Nominelli (Hancock, Michigan), who passed away on October 16, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert J. Nominelli to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Bat" and Gertrude Nominelli (Saam); and his parents-in-law, Rev. Andrew, Tom, Phil, Naomi Johnson, James, Mary Lou Mickelsen, Jack Tibbs, Ross Wolfe and David Mickelsen.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Mickelsen of Hancock, Michigan.; his children, Gregg of Houghton and Robin (Curt); his grandchildren, Courtney "Luci", Jack Robert and Charles August; his sister Mary of Hancock; and his parents-in-law, Joyce Tibbs (Stewart), Fayth Wolfe and Marilyn Mickelsen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Lahti Retreat Center, 400 Ingot Street, Hancock, MI 49930, Zion Lutheran Church, the Inter-Lutheran Theological Seminary, the Omega House or other charity of choice.
