She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph LaBelle and Josephine LaBelle (Chiminatti); her husband Herbert Wiitanen; her siblings, Marie Pierce, Joan Dulong, Frances DeCesare and Bernard "Bunny" LaBelle; and her daughter-in-law LoriAnn Wiitanen.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Wiitanen (David Strang) of Copper City and Mark Wiitanen of Laughlin; her nieces, Roberta, Vicky and Mary Jo; and her friends, Audrey and Mary. She is also survived by other nieces, cousins.
She loved playing bingo and was a regular at the Chassell VFW bingo on Sundays, and South Range VFW bingo on Wednesdays, before the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
