He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Niemi and Lillian Niemi (Kero). He is survived by: his wife Susan Jokela; his children, Sarah of Hancock His, Tim (Nicole) of Hancock His and Brad of Hancock His; his grandchildren, Zachary Stoor, Abigail Stoor of Okemos and Kyler Niemi of Hancock His; and his siblings, Phyllis Burge (Thomas) of Manistique and Raymond Niemi of Hancock Kenneth. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the family suggest memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, or the charity of ones choice in Mike's memory.
