She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lawrence and Ellen Eleanor Sorenson (Stonemark); her brother Glenn Allan (Raymond); and her son Steven Arthur. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa "Lisa", Catherine Middelberg (Neal) of Apex and Lisa McKenzie (Doug) of Hancock; her daughter-in-law Carol Yeats of Gainesville, Florida; her grandchildren, Matthew Jackson of Hancock, Cameron of Hancock, Erin of Hancock, Molly McKenzie of Hancock, Joseph Middelberg (Annie) of Raleigh, Ellen Yeats of Ann Arbor and Eric Yeats of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Torrence Jackson, Brooke Juusula of Hayward and Eleanor Middelberg of Raleigh.
