He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal F. Murphy and Harriet G. Murphy (LeCrone); his siblings, Dale, William Murphy and Johanna LeBlanc; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon DuLong of Hancock; and his children, James L. Murphy, Scott W. Murphy, Robert T. Murphy and Kelly S. Schroyer (Brandon). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; along with other family and friends.
