He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo McCloskey and Loraine McCloskey; his brothers, Robert "Bobby" and Kenneth "Pluck" McCloskey; and his nephew Ken McCloskey.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Etapa; his children, Amy Juntunen (Tom) and Brady McCloskey (Nicole); and his siblings, David McCloskey (Donna), Kathleen Kennedy (David), Lois Bright (William) and Jean Ricchi (Randall). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; a great grandson.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to Hurontown Fire and Rescue, 47890 Main Street, Houghton, MI 49931 in the name of Jim McCloskey.
