She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram Torro and Wilhelmina Torro (Moilanen); and her siblings, John, Charles, Armas, Urho, Theodore, Hugo, Donald, Eino, Anna Petrelius Plough, Martha Pesola, Wilma Heikkinen and Viola Tarvas Reichardt.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Pelto; her daughter Sandy Giordana (John) of Houghton; her grandchildren, Jena Baker (Rick) of Santa Rosa, CA and John Giordana (Sara) of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Ricky, Jordana Baker and John Burke Giordana; and her sister-in-law Dorine Torro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests a donation be made to Mission United Lutheran Church of Pelkie or a charity of your choice.
