She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Maki and Wilhelmina Maki (Wuorinen); her husband Robert "Bob" Salani; her grandchildren, Madison and Tony; and her siblings, Mildred, Shirley, Raymond, Robert and Gerald.

She is survived by: her children, Teri Seibert of Bootjack, Steven Salani (Gayla) of Marquette, Brian Salani (Mary) of Kenosha, Wisc, Gerald Salani of Edwards, Colo and Julie Fust (Robert) of Bootjack; her grandchildren, Peter, Anna, Lizzie, Laura, Maria, Sophia, Michael, Dana, Robert, Hunter, Boden and Katie; and her sisters, Nancy Stemberger and Lorraine Widmark. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved in-laws.
