She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sylvia M Sincock (Erickson) and Baden Powell Sincock; her husband Rudolph Walley (Jack); her sister Florence Hakkala (Sincock); her brother-in-law Robert Walley; her children, Doug Walley (Helen) and Karen Deiters (John); her siblings-in-law, Margaret Walley Chapman (Peggy) and Don Walley; her nieces, Susan Hakkala and Nancy Martin (Hakkala); and her nephew Gary Hakkala. She was also cherished by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations in memory of Gertrude be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Hubbell or Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (littlebrothers.org).
