He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Laine; and his siblings, Ruth, Robert, Norman, Leah, Agnes, David and James.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Cynthia Kring (Don) of Durango, Colo and Christine Manninen of Chelsea, Mich.; his grandson Donald Kring (Erin); his great grandchild Evelyn of Ada, Mich.; his granddaughters, Dr. Molly Kring (Josh Juedes) of Madison, Wis. and Emily Obrist (Christopher); and his great grandchild Adrian of St. Gallen, Switzerland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
