It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Edward Houle of Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Houle and June Houle (Koski); his in-laws, John and Ruth Hauswirth; his son Randall Jon Houle; and his brothers, John and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Jane Hauswirth of Hancock; his children, Candace Silvola (Alan), Spencer (Dayne Stuhr) and Sawyer (Kaylynn Pelto); his daughter-in-law Joanna Houle-Vestich (Andy Vestich); his son Hunter (Chelsea Fiske); his grandson Scott Houle (Katie); his daughters, Stella and Eliza; his sisters, Pat Doud (Doby) and Michele; his pet Nina; and his son Randy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (401 Quincy St, Hancock, MI 49930).
Memorials may be directed to the Copper Country Humane Society or to Little Brothers~friends of the Elderly in the name of George Houle.
