He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Darlene Eakin, Gwen Apger (David), Randy Ruddell (Torry) and Michelle Ruddell (Paul); and his siblings, Vera Smith, Loretta Laplander (Jim), Mable Wakeham, Dorothy Ylitalo, Lilly Wiitala, Harold Eakin (Fran), John Eakin (Vivian), Fred Eakin (Catherine) and George Eakin (June). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
