She was predeceased by: her parents, Uno Hillstrom and Ruth Hillstrom (Bylkas); her brothers, Bill (Shirley Hillstrom) and Dan Guara; her son-in-law Scott Karrio; her siblings-in-law, Carl Maki, Ralph Sheffer, Rose Knuuttila Hillstrom, Karen Jarl Hillstrom and Denise Auel Hillstrom; and her nephews, Keith Ylitalo and John Hillstrom.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Seppala (Evonnie) and Melanie Karrio; her grandchildren, Logan Karrio (Olivia) and Slevin Seppala; and her siblings, David (Charlene), Charlie, Terry (Mary), Mary Maki, Sarah Sheffer and Brita Ylitalo (Howard).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home (26090 Pine St, Calumet, MI 49913).
