He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Kuivanen and Alma Kuivanen (Oinas); his former wife Myrna Peterson; his wife Elly of Tapiola; his children, Sheri Juntunen (Jan) of Homosassa, Pammi Washuleski (Allen) of Tapiola, Jeffrey Kuivanen of Ishpeming, Michigan., Jeremy Kuivanen and Lynne Kuivanen; his daughter-in-law Laurie Kuivanen of South Lyon; his grandchildren, Kevin, Jared, Myra, Bradley Juntunen (Amanda), Austin Kuivanen, Victoria, Jack and Ashlynn Kuivanen; his great grandchild Benjamin Juntunen; and also Eleanore Peterson (Elly). He was also cherished by relatives and friends.

A service will be held for Chadwick at the Memorial Chapel in Hancock, Michigan on Monday, December 28, 2020 with visitation at 12:00 p. m. and service at 1:00 p. m. For those attending Chad's service, the family asks that social distancing be practiced in accordance with COVID guidelines.
