He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Silvola and Donna VanTiegham (Lazenby); his stepmother Martha; his father-in-law George Houle; and his brother-in-law Randall Jon Houle.
He is survived by: his wife Candace Silvola; his sons, Spencer (Dayne Stuhr) and Sawyer (Kaylynn Pelto); his siblings, Karin Hetcher (Jeff), Peter Silvola and Edward Silvola; his mother-in-law Suzanne Houle; his siblings-in-law, Scott Houle (Katie) and Joanna Houle-Vestich (Andy Vestich); and his great-aunt Kathy Lazenby (Robin). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
