She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Nissen and Anna Nissen (Peuhkurinen); and her son-in-law Robert Mantta. She is survived by: her children, Steven Karkkainen (Sally) of L'Anse, Arne Karkkainen (Jill) of Coles Creek, Elin Mantta of Obenhoff, Ann Schultz (Kurt) of Champion and Susan Campbell (Robert Wilson) of Coles Creek; her grandchildren, Lisa, Daniel, Leah, Matthew, LeeAnn, Joshua, Jesse, Elizabeth, James, Sienna and Seth; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah and Madisyn; and her sister Edwina Wright (Kenneth) of Casper, WY..
