With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary DeKane of Hamtramck, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Mary Ann; and her husband Stephen D. DeKane. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Collins and Carol Nagel (Robert); her sister Helen Corbeil; her brother-in-law Robert DeKane, Sr.; and her nieces and nephews, Keith Corbeil, Kathleen Kelly (Daniel), Katrina Yeager, Donna Pollack, Vanessa Grucz (Richard), Lorraine Dembowski, Michael Rosko, Katherine Shishkovsky, Paul Rosko (Connie), Susan Weinbaum, Kristin Pappas (Paul), Ann Loehnis (Charles) and Allison Trisch (William).
In place of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisterhood of the Protection, c/o Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 20500 Anglin Street, Detroit. Keep Mary's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
