Joan Filipowicz Stoyka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Filipowicz Stoyka (Hamtramck, Michigan), who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; her parents, Stanley Filipowicz and Jadwiga Filipowicz; and her siblings, Emily Smart (late Michael), Alexander Filips (late Josephine), Jennie Ziemczyk (late William) and Olga Blackman (late Earl).
She is survived by: her son Gregory Filipowicz (Christine); and her brother Russel Filips (Patricia). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church are appreciated.
