He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd George and Veldene Victoria Joy Clawson (Hart); his son Jesse Clawson; and his pet Sprocket. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Clawson; his children, Tina Cooper (John) and Matthew Clawson (Tracy); his grandchildren, Sean Harrington (Helen Sun), Morgan Harrington, Troy Clawson (Skylar) and Thomas Clawson; and his siblings, Gayla Heistand (Arland), Lowell Clawson (Janice), Weldene Clawson and Dale Clawson.

Due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak concerning social distancing, private family services will be held for Marvin.
