She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Gott and Katherine Gott (Rogers); her husband Sonny Lee Jackson; her children, Richie Jackson and Joyce Anne Jackson; her granddaughter Heather Collins; and her siblings, Dennis Gott, David Gott, Richard Gott, Beatrice Smith, Robert Gott and Leo Gott.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Collins (Timothy), Karen Acklen (Israel), Jeffrey Jackson (Sandie) and Michael Jackson (Erin Goerner); and her grandchildren, Tiannette, Lachrisha, Timothy, Ryan, Jeremy, Serrinea and Sonny. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
