He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doreen; his children, Mitchell Vink of Kemah, TX, Melissa Windisch (Chip) of Rockford and Krista Vink of Grand Rapids; his granddaughter Brooklyn; his parents, Gerda Holley (Jim) and John C. Vink Sr. (Joan); his brother Arie "Art" Vink; his sister-in-law Marlene Gaitan of Holland; and his mother-in-law Dolores Simonson DeJonge. He was also cherished by Uncle and Great Uncle with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
