It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan Jay Jurries (Hamilton, Michigan), who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Arloa; and his son Kyle. He is survived by: his friend Stan Gates (Calvary Church); his children, Kristi Laninga (Ken) and Kevin Jurries (Peggy); his grandchildren, Nick Jurries, Nicole Laninga, Adam Laninga (Elisha), Christopher Laninga, Aron Jurries and Bethany Hunt (Kanen); his great grandchildren, Asher, Kaiser Hunt, Presley, Gavin Jurries, Emilia and Andrew Laninga; his siblings, Donna Skoglund (Terry), Norm Jurries (Virginia), Lloyd Jurries (Kathy), Merle Jurries, Gary Jurries (Donna), Roger Jurries (Sandie) and David Jurries (Kathy); his fathers-in-law, Julian Smit (Rosie) and Earl Smit (Linda); his close friend Sue Dykhuis; and his caregiver Donna. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Calvary Reformed Church in Cleveland, OH or to Hungry for Christ in Hamilton, MI.
