He was predeceased by: his parents, Loreto Martinez and Jose Soledad Martinez; and his son Matthew Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Zulema Martinez; and his children, Lupe Martinez (Ann), Mike Martinez, Omar Perez (Maria), Genaro Martinez Jr. Amelia Martinez (Martin), Jessica Carnes (Brian) and Eddie Martinez (Justine). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren.
