She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Roelofs and Anna Roelofs (Van Hoven); and her husband LaVern Van Dyke. She is survived by: her children, Lu Ann Ritsema (James), Gary Van Dyke and Gordon Van Dyke (Cindy); her grandchildren, Stephanie Ritsema, Derek Van Dyke (Nikki), Becky Taylor (Dustin), Greg Van Dyke (Tanya), Benjamin Ritsema (Sydney), Emilie Rillema (Todd) and Jennifer Hoffman (Evan); her great grandchildren, Lincoln Taylor, MacKenzie Taylor, Andrew Hoffman, Natalie Van Dyke, Meryl Van Dyke, Zoey Van Dyke and Gage Rillema; her sister Isla Brower; and her brother-in-law Marvin Van Dyke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yntema Funeral Home (251 S State St, Zeeland, MI 49464). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hamilton Reformed Church (3554 Lincoln Rd, Hamilton, MI 49419-9601).
