With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donna K. Jensen of Hamilton, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorance Peterson and Delia Peterson; her siblings, Dorothy, Mildred, Dorance "Pete", John and Milton Peterson; her sons, R. W. Sydmark and Scot Jensen; her siblings-in-law, Lydia Jensen Jodlowski, Audrey Peterson, Paulene Peterson, Peggy Peterson Brown, Donna Gail Peterson and Ray Long; her nephews, Jack Long and Kevin Peterson; and her pet Kenaye.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Jensen; her sons, Paul Sydmark (Barbara Barkley) and Michael; her stepchildren, Julie Dahleen (David), Lorraine Schaefer (Steve), Pam Brown, David Jensen (Mary), Steve Jensen and Ben Jensen (JoAnn); her nephews, Kris Peterson, Eric Peterson, Matthew Peterson (Norma) and Mark Peterson (Ann); her great-nephews, Todd Horchner (Maria) and Troy Horchner (Juliana); her nieces, Lynn Marie Peterson, Janet Horchner (Dale), Jerry Long and Bonnie Sue Hurley; her grandchildren, Lynsey Sydmark (Eric Herzog), Jeanette Tanaka, Michael K. Sydmark (Keshia Hruska), Jayden Sydmark (Grace), Zahnder Jensen, Draike Jensen, Kayla Dahleen, Jacob, Makayla Dahleen, Marissa Knie (Jamie), Rachael Kirby (Mitch), Rebecca Schaefer, Meghan Jensen, Ryan Jensen, Ashley Jensen, Ethan Jensen, Jeff, Nicole Jensen, Dustin Jensen, Nathan Jensen, Alicia Barkley, Kate Barkley and Zachary Jensen; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Aila Phipps, Hailey Jensen, Kinsley, Kayson Jensen, Isaac, Alex Dahleen, Simon Dahleen, Emma, Mia Kirby, Kiara, Kooper Hruska and Kalani Sydmark.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Barbara Catholic Church (159 Mission St, Vulcan, MI 49892).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donna's name to benefit the Holy Spirit Catholic School at 201 Saginaw St. in Norway.
