He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Robert Carmer; his wife Sheryl Carmer; his children, Melissa Soper and Daniel Carmer (Bernedette); his grandchildren, Riley, Austin and Kaitlyn Soper; his mother Constance Ranta; his siblings, Barbara Welch, Steve Carmer (Cindi), David Carmer, Brian Carmer and Danielle Allen (Justin); and his stepsiblings, David Sickrey and Faith Sickrey. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
