He was predeceased by: his wife Verna; his parents, Ernest Coffey and Dorothy Coffey; and his in-laws, Aleta Storey, Dena Coffey, Martha Novotny (Bob), Louis Coffey, Alice Ridlington (Roger), Lloyd Lemmen (Genevieve) and Ron Lemmen.
He is survived by: his children, Dwane Coffey of California and Denise Gray (Aaron) of Coopersville; his grandchildren, Tristan Coffey, Bruce Coffey, Joe Coffey, Josh Gray and Dorothy Gray; his siblings, Angela Belden (Don) of Allegan and Ernest Coffey (Sharon) of Allegan; and his in-laws, Betty Lemmen (Ken) and Isla Vander Hulst.
