He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Rankens and Bessie Rankens (Sale); his wife Marge; his children, Alvin Rankens Jr., Jeffrey Rankens (Kimberly), Marcia Anderson (Don) and Angela Meyer (Todd); his grandchildren, Seth Anderson (Jeanette), Hilary Weber (Brandon), Justine Ackley (Dustin), Scott Rankens (Gabrielle) and Ania Meyer; his great grandchildren, Ava, Easton, Colton, Tucker, Parson, Percy, Pryor, Vivienne and Ace; and his sister Donna Ende. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
