He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Joseph Helms and Frieda Keller; and his brother Thomas Lanoye. He is survived by: his sisters, Cheryl Prasol, Darlene Russell (Tony Szegda) and Judy Stringham (Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
