She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Meer and Gladys Van Meer (Warren); her husbands, Roy Compton and Floyd Cook; her children-in-law, Brenda Compton and John Brock; and her great grandchild Timothy Compton.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Compton (Brenda), Linda Shultes (Skip), Norman Compton (Jan) and Diane Brock (John). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shalom Lutheran Church (1740 M-36, Pinckney, MI 48169). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Shalom Lutheran Church.
