With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cara Cooke (Hamburg, Michigan), born in Trenton, Michigan, who passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Jeffrey Cooke; and her sister Madison Cooke. She is survived by: her mother Angela Chirillo (Danny); and her sisters, Courtney Schultz (Adam) and Stephanie Calvird (Steve). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and friends.

“I just now learned of Cara's passing. .I became a friend of Cara's via her association with my best friend, Kevin Collier. We messaged back and forth several times mainly about our common medical condition. I have end stage renal failure and she was an inspiration. I actually have the same name, same spelling as her dad. I saw the flier from her memorial service show up in my news feed and I was stunned.. I couldn't believe it. I know that she is in a much better place but...wow!”
