He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Ballor (Jim) of L'Anse; his grandchildren, Beverly Van Horn (Rick), Tom Ahearne, Tazia Ballor and Jim Ballor (Anita); his sister Vivian Green; his wife Almina; his daughter Diana Sheltrown; and his siblings, Gordon Short, Arthur Short, Prune Short, Francis Thayer and Shirley Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
