With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Eugene Engel of Hale, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Thomas Eugene left this world on April 21, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Engel (Engel) and Albert E. Engel; and his stepfather Gino Viola. He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his daughter Lisa LaGerould (Chris); his sisters, Beth Cichon (Jeff), Patrice Kelly (Jim) and Jean Commyn (Don Bloomberg); his siblings-in-law, Debby Brauer (Kurt) and Jeff Commyn; and his nieces, Catherine Hunt (Matt), Cristina Geraci (Anthony), Lauren Kelly (Alex Goodson), Maria Commyn (Nate Bazydlo), Marisa Koravesis (Alex) and Cameron Brauer (Megan Ellis).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Thom's memory to the Dr. Thom Engel Scholarship Fund.
