She was predeceased by: her parents, Erma Atkinson (White) and Howard Atkinson; her husband Orval Armstead; her daughter Jana Barnes; and her siblings-in-law, Blanche Davidson, Joseph Sestak, Norris Davidson, Donald Armstead, John Valent and James Bolen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Westcott (Paul), Jill Sidebottom (Luke) and Jonell Evitts; her sister Cleta Sestak; her sisters-in-law, Lillian Armstead, Viola Valent and Ila Bolen; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob, Chelsea, Jeffrey, Laura and Nathan.
In lieu of flowers donations can be directed to Hale Creek Manor or Hale United Methodist Church.
