With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Mae Freeman of Hale, Michigan, who passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer E. Walker and Mary E. Walker (McLeod). She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her children, Sherry Ross (Daniel) of Greenville and Gary Freeman (Anne) of Oscoda, Michigan.; her grandchildren, Kerry Garza (Gene), Krista Burkeen (Keith) and Eric Freeman (Leslie); her stepgrandson Gilbert McCann II; her great grandchildren, Chad Burkeen, Lauren Burkeen, Peyton Freeman, Mia Freeman, Olivia Garza and Charlotte Garza; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Lily McCann and Olivia McCann; her parents-in-law, Roy and Nina Freeman; her sisters, Eileen Howe (Don) and Francis Weaver (Stan); her brother-in-law Neil Freeman; and her sister Norma Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Laura to Hale First United Methodist Church, Heartland Hospice or the Salvation Army.
