She is survived by: her brother Michael Mellen; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Mellen; and her nieces and nephews, Debra Ann Griffin (Steve), John E. Mellen (Elizabeth Heys), Annika Griffin, Reagan Mellen and Drake Griffin.
In the early years she was a sports trainer and then transitioned to senior care physical therapy, and caring for Alzheimer's patients.
