He is survived by: his children, Donna Marie (Dominic) and James Micheal Nelson; his sister Patricia Ann Powell (Hugh); his sister-in-law Audrey Nelson; and his grandchildren, Alexandriah Nelson, Ashley Greco, Dartagnan Nelson and Rebekah Sue Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
