She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ronald and Alice Lavesta Vliet (Hindingland); and her siblings, Carol Ann Norris, Dorothy Emmons, Evelynn Bellows, Larry Erving Vliet, James Vliet and George Ronald Vliet.
She is survived by: her husband James Harold Popejoy; her daughters, Tina Louise Harrington (Leo) of Tawas, Zina Lynn Smith (Bryan A. Cooper) of Hale, Dorothy Ann Gapuz II (Richard L.) of Hale and Candy Marie Webb (Robert R.) of Hale, Michigan; her grandchildren, Corrina Reiger, Molenda Arndt (Shane), Jennette Helton (Justin), Bocandra Webb (Edward Hitsmann II) and Robert Webb III; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Arndt, AriAnna Helton, Dominic Helton, Rileigh Roach and Kyra Helton; and her sister Genevive Simpson of Tawas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
