He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Baker and Helen Baker (Lewandowski). He is survived by: his children, Gary Baker (Jill) of Greensburg, KY, Jill Hunt (Craig) of Hale, Alan Baker of Hale and David Baker (Elizabeth) of Boyne City; his sister Blanche Starks of Corpus Christie, TX; his sister-in-law Pat Baker of Arcadia, FL.; his siblings, Ruthie, Leon and Ralph Baker (Phyllis); and his brother-in-law Aaron Starks. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Al to either St. Paul's Lutheran Church of the Iosco County Medical Care Facility.
