It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tom Sweeney of Hadley, Michigan, born in Ortonville, Michigan, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sweeney and Mary Kathleen Sweeney (Boegner); his son Jim Sweeney; his grandson Rocky Sweeney; and his sisters, Barbara Pack and Mary Sweeney Butzier.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sweeney; his children, Patrick Sweeney (Richene) of Lapeer, Jeffrey Sweeney (Kelly) of Metamora and Shelly Cross (John) of Goodyear, AZ; his grandchildren, Reann, Rachelle, Randilyn, Joshua, Kaine and Presley; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Elliott, Evan, Blake, Ryan, Zoe, Oliver, Max, Evelyn, Kody, Fiona, Caitlyn and Gary; and his siblings, Edna Mae Sierakowski of Hadley, Thresa Brady of Gaines and Pat Sweeney (Barbara) of Hadley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
