He was predeceased by : his parents, John B. "Jack" Hill and Mary Hill (Keener); his wife Sarah Hill; and his sister Maryann Ivory. He is survived by : his children, John Hill (Denise) of Linden, Desiree Baranski (Ed) of Hadley, Tim Hill (Liisa) of Kingston and Paul Hill (Shelly) of Hadley; his grandchildren, John Hill (Tabatha), Jeremy Hill (Alissa), Laura Bruckman (Mike), Erin Barnes (Brandon), Jacob Baranski (Sarah), Melissa Biddix (Troy), Brittni Stevenson (Ty), Caleb Hill (Jen), Peter Hill (Allie), Phil Hill (Ashleigh) and Zach Hill (Katrina); his great grandchildren, Alivia, Makenzie, Angela, Charlie, Grayson, Zella, Asher, Fletcher, Hazel, Hawkins, Jack, Claire, Hank, Elle, Bo, Charles, Jerrold, Ryleigh, Wrangler, Reagan and Harlan; his brother Donald Hill; his brother-in-law David Ivory of Hadley; and also Luke Hollis.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist Church of Hadley (4566 Pratt Rd, Hadley, MI 48440). The military honors was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Green Corners Cemetery.
