He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hayes and Adella Hayes (Rottlander); his wife Lila Hayes; and his brother Lloyd Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Robert Hayes (Bella) of Bloomfield, Gilda Wheeler of Lapeer and Sandy Hayes of Hadley; his grandchildren, Kimberly Henderson (Tim) of Tennessee, Tammy Boka (Darin) of Hadley, Kristie Applegate (Shawn) of Tennessee, Kelley Bjornstad (Jeremy) of Tennessee and Michelle Armstrong (Chad) of Boston; and his brother Stanley Hayes (Joyce) of Fife Lake, Michigan.. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
