He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hooker and Virginia Hooker (Hickman); his siblings, Bill Hooker and Peggy Conn; and his son Jimmy Joe.
He is survived by: his friend Shirley Pizziola; his sons, Michael Hooker (Tammy) and Bobby Hooker (Karen); his siblings, Betty Chandler (Tom) and Tom Hooker; and his grandsons, Austin, Robert III and David. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ishpeming Senior Center at 121 Greenwood St. Ishpeming, MI 49849 in memory of Robert.
