It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Stinson of Gwinn, Michigan, born in Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Grace Watson; his wife Sharon L. Stinson; and his sister Evelyn Thompson. He is survived by: his uncle Henry Watson; his sons, Stephen Stinson of Gwinn and Charlie Stinson (Becky) of Midland, MI; his grandson Charlie Stinson of Midland; his stepgrandchildren, Casey Bridges (Maddie), Ava, Tate, Bo, Nash Bridges and Courtney Kreh (Jordan); his brothers, Dennis Stinson (Sue) of Charlotte, MI and James McGinn (Beth) of Cadillac; his sister-in-law Patricia Swanson (Gary) of Seminole, FL; his mother-in-law Donna "Sammy" Williams of Grayling; his niece RaeAnne Swanson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan, Marisa, Marcie Daley (Scott), Becky Hocquard (Ray) and Angie Cortright (Jordan); his nephews, Scott Webb and Troy Webb (Sandy); and also, Hudson of Bay City, MI and Jessie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
