It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A. Boorsma (Gwinn, Michigan), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on April 6, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dick Boorsma, Martin Boorsma and Walter Boorsma; and his sister-in-law Ladonna Boorsma. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Boorsma of Gwinn; his children, Michael Zamora of Minneapolis and Libby Boorsma of Gwinn; his grandson Wyatt; his brother David Boorsma (Marilyn) of Minneapolis; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Boorsma and Gwen Boorsma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to his family.
